Remember Mitt Romney? He;s that guy who tried to become the nation's CEO, until voters figured out they didn't want a CEO; they wanted a leader. Mitt did an excellent imitation of a leader at the first debate in Denver. But then Barack Obama fought back, catching Mitt out in any number of lies, as well as reacting promptly and firmly to the big hurricane while chumming around with, and being fulsomely praised by the Fat Guy. And tons of women, blacks, latins, Asians and young people, all came to the same conclusion. They weren't Rich White Guys. Or bitter old farts. They went and stood on long lines and voted for a leader.
However, the rich white guys now stand guard over the infamous Fiscal Cliff, and from their posture, I'd guess they think they still run things. I'm not sure how we disabuse them of this idea, but I know we must.
