So the battle lines are drawn.  Boehner is being his usual slimeball self, but it doesn't matter, because the media consensus is that the Speaker is being "conciliatory".  The president got all nicey nice too, but he held up his pen and drew the line in the sand: 

“I just want to point out this was a central question during the election, It was debated over and over again. And on Tuesday night, we found out that the majority of Americans agree with my approach.”

Boehner says he won too.  But he knows he didn't. 

The rich white guy lost.

His kind will pay. It's in the cards.
